In the heart of Knightsbridge, an outdated mews house was completely reimagined to meet the needs of a modern family of six. We secured planning permission for the complete demolition of the original structure and crafted a new luxury residence, seamlessly blending contemporary design with urban living.

The project features a sleek basement addition, enhanced by a generous lightwell and a vibrant green wall, flooding the open-plan living space with natural light while creating a serene outdoor area. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are visually connected, yet each space is thoughtfully defined and tucked away to provide both flow and privacy. This transformation offers a perfect balance of elegance and functionality, tailored to the rhythm of family life.

The space embodies the joy of cooking together and enhances contemporary living. It features a spacious central island, perfect for prep, seating, and storage. The light grey stone worktop elegantly folds down to form the shorter sides of the island, resulting in a striking sculptural volume that stands out against the dark, textured wood grain doors.

From the central island, you can enjoy views of the garden, as well as the hallway and sitting room, which are situated on a higher level at the front of the house. The glass partition provides acoustic separation while visually connecting the rooms and allowing natural light to flood in during the evenings.
